Waukesha Bearings’ plant in Antigo, Wisconsin.
Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of three full-time staff. In 2019, the plant expanded to a hundred,000 sq ft of manufacturing house and now employs 120 people. The manufacturing space was added to accommodate manufacturing for marine bearing techniques and other new projects awarded to the corporate.
“We are pleased with our success and growth to become a provider of precision bearings to some of the largest multi-national companies from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” mentioned Mark Greenlund, plant supervisor.
To celebrate the 50-year milestone, the corporate is planning an occasion on the facility for employees and lengthening its outreach to the neighborhood to educate them on the profession opportunities obtainable at the website. “We are on the lookout for folks throughout the Antigo community who want to be a half of the next 50 years of success at Waukesha Bearings,” stated Greenlund.
