Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of 3 full-time workers. In 2019, the plant expanded to 100,000 sq ft of producing space and now employs a hundred and twenty people. The manufacturing space was added to accommodate manufacturing for marine bearing methods and different new projects awarded to the company.
“We are happy with our success and growth to become a supplier of precision bearings to some of the largest multi-national firms from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” stated Mark Greenlund, plant manager.
