Alton Smith has joined Sundyne as regional sales manager for North and Latin America, specializing in the chemical and industrial (C&I) markets.

In his new position, Smith will strengthen buyer going through initiatives and work with Sundyne’s inner groups to increase across the C&I area.
Smith comes to Sundyne with more than 30 years of experience in selling highly engineered tools and service options to the downstream and midstream sectors. He has labored extensively with EPCs, OEMs and end customers in the renewable power, oil & gasoline, petrochemical, chemical and energy technology markets.
Prior to Sundyne, Smith served as vice president of sales for Fluid Sealing International, where he developed strategies to strengthen & grow distributor sales, whereas additionally overseeing training and applications help. He previously served as a regional gross sales manager for EKATO Systems. Smith began his career at Flowserve Corp’s Seal Division and has additionally worked with midstream oil & gas OEMs at EagleBurgmann and John Crane Inc.
