Valmet is adding a new circulate management options service centre in Antofagasta, Chile, increasing its offering to the mining and metals industry.
The Antofagasta service centre begins operating this month.
The new Antofagasta service centre will present a full range of circulate management services, together with the alternative and upkeep of valves, pumps and third-party gear. The Valmet portfolio for mining, metals and metal includes the Neles, Jamesbury, Neles Easyflow and Flowrox manufacturers.
Valmet entered into the circulate control enterprise in April 2022 when the industrial move control company Neles was merged into Valmet.
“Over the years, we’ve systematically expanded our flow control put in base and solution offering for the mining and metals business in the area,” says Fabio Maia, head of the South & Central America Area at Valmet’s Flow Control enterprise line. “The new facility permits us to better respond to the growing demand for buyer support in addition to drive our expansion in minerals processing. From Antofagasta, our service groups will be close to customer operations in Chile and in Peru.”
