In เพรสเชอร์เกจ , Svanehøj signed a contract to provide deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled gross sales of its patented deepwell gasoline pumps in 2021, and says there are many indications that sales may increase even additional in 2022.
“Until a few years in the past, the use of LNG as a marine gasoline was restricted to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we at the moment are seeing a pointy increase in gasoline pump orders for deep sea vessels similar to container ships and automobile carriers,” stated Johnny Houmann, chief gross sales officer at Svanehøj. “We had been chosen as the provider of fuel pump techniques for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21.
