This is particularly the case in relation to sustainability, digital transformation, and global competitiveness, in addition to the necessity to overcome the crisis provoked by the Covid-19 pandemic. หลักการทํางานของpressuregauge and Resilience Plan launched in Spring 2021 is largely building on the potential of European business to design and produce the constructing blocks of the twin green and digital transition. At the same time, the EU is shaping a dense regulatory framework that does not at all times help the liberty and flexibility wanted for corporations to grow and compete globally.
The European know-how industries, and particularly our pumps, compressors, taps and valves sectors, have for a protracted time thought-about the enhancement of their global competitiveness within the challenges of societal and environmental challenges, notably by contributing to the preparation of power effectivity and ecolabel laws. In parallel, digitalisation has provided increased opportunities and introduced new challenges, including debates on the appropriate regulatory stage (sharing of commercial information, synthetic intelligence, cybersecurity, etc).
These developments, amidst ever more fierce worldwide competition, require that public authorities and trade within the EU work more and more more intently to design and deploy strategies that reinforce our competitiveness and our contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In our specific arena, that relates, in fact, to the manufacture, distribution and use of pumps and all pump associated gear – a huge and important subset of business, given the width and breadth of pump purposes.
Against this backdrop, one of the primary concerns when figuring out the core themes for the joint convention was to maintain a direct reference to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Within this focus, the three associations intend to highlight how, together with the significance for firms to address technical aspects impacting their daily business operations, they contemplate the positive position of industry in addressing societal challenges. Indeed, all of the classes will have a technical theme matching the most applicable UN SDG, and with illustration from the European Commission together with technical experts from business and/or research institutes, they’ll each be reflective of the present legislative terrain, because it pertains to pumps and pumping systems within the following key areas:
