Sulzer sanctioned in Poland

Sulzer has to temporarily suspend the activities of its two legal entities in Poland – Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Poland and Sulzer Turbo Services Poland – because of sanctions levied by the Polish authorities on its Russian minority shareholder Viktor Vekselberg.

The Swiss engineering group believes that the sanctions against its two entities in Poland are erroneous and says that Vekselberg has no management or possession of any Sulzer entity.
The company says it’s going to continue to do every little thing in its power to petition for a removal from the sanctions record, whereas totally complying with the sanctions at present levied in opposition to Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Poland and Sulzer Turbo Services Poland.
