Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and complete metering techniques. The firm employs around 1200 folks and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has an extended tradition of supporting prospects and creating main industrial flow technology for environment friendly, precise and secure dealing with of fluids,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are building our presence and technology providing within positive displacement pumps.”

“Geveke has sturdy engineering functionality, providing complete industrial pump solutions from concept to commissioning,” stated Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is expected to be accomplished in the course of the second quarter 2022.
The major a half of the acquired businesses will have its base within the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will be part of the Service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
